Today is day #6 of the 24 Days of Christmas Author Showcase and it's my day :) So... what should we talk about? I mean following my literary brother, JH Glaze... really? Hey KB!!! I don't do the Elf on the Shelf. A friend of mine does and she has said she wishes she never started it because if she forgets even one day her kids say something lol. I think I am good without the Elf in my home, but I do enjoy all the pictures that my friends put up of the Elf's in their home acting up.
ReplyDeleteWe don't do the Elf on the Shelf. Honestly, it creeps me out. But we don't do the Santa thing. But I'm sure if we did have one, I'd name it Boris or something equally odd.

ReplyDeleteMy kids are all grown but when my son was younger the first place we put the elf on the shelf was in the living room on top of the T.V. and his name was fred.

ReplyDeleteOh poooo KB....we don't do Elf on The Shelf....however that sister of mine (Rana Hillis) does and theirs is named Wyatt...he started in the fridge this year...I swear he was trying to eat all the grape jelly!!

ReplyDeleteOur elf is named Wyatt. He does different things each year. This year he was anxious for us to get the tree up, so he made a mess with some of the branches & was in the box when we got up.
ReplyDeleteI HATE that damn elf! But SO damn effective! makes me wish we had a different one for every month. his name is Jerry and he always makes an appearance on our (naked Dec 1) tree and always comes with a note REMINDING the minions of his objective and job and leaves them a few small gifts...to "motivate"

We had similar elves before it became famous and just this week I bought two very grumpy angry looking elves. They will live year round on the mantle.
