Love or Death? A simple question really. The choice seems obvious. But. What if you never knew love, what if your life was spent just trying to survive? What if you knew your fate before you were fully grown?

This new life depended upon one thing: your job. And so you agreed. You thought it would be simple. You thought it would be cut and dry.

It never is.

Dex and Piper are the new it couple! I read this book last year, and again while on bedrest... and the second time was even better than the first. Dex has been brought back from the dead to escort Piper to her death. The only problem with that little scenario is, Dex has fallen for his target. I'm not going to tell you anything else because it will spoil it for you, but RUN, do not walk to grab copy and fall in love with Dex today! Bravo again, Cambria!!

Author Biography

Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair. 

Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).

Spencer's Cookie in a Mug Recipe

A fast treat to enjoy while you read Taste!

Ingredients 1 tbsp melted butter 1 tbsp granulated sugar 1 tbsp brown sugar Pinch of salt 1 egg yolk ¼ cup flour 2 tbsp chocolate chips (mini’s work great!) Directions Mix all ingredients into a microwavable safe mug. Microwave for 60 seconds. Serve to the cookie monster in your life!

Just an FYI, my favorite book by Cambria is Text. I have read that book three times!!

I really enjoyed Fat Chances! Normally, our main female characters are slim, fit, and unbeknownst to them, runway model gorgeous. Annie is not... at least not on the outside. A forced trip to a Zumba class is going to rock her world! To me, this book had a realistic quality that we should be instilling in our young ladies. You don't have to paint your face, starve, or be a Hollywood starlet to get the guy. Just be true to yourself, the way Annie was. She learned how to love herself, while being healthy, NOT anorexic. I loved the characters, and this world! Bravo J.S.!!

Where to start? Okay, first off... congrats to Cambria on another hit! Text had me up all night guzzling coffee and using toothpicks to keep my eyes open. I couldn't put this book down, it was so good that I read it twice, back to back. 

One text can change your life. And for Nathan Reed and Honor Calhoun, it did. Nathan is the type of man every woman wants; strong, protective, and an attentive lover.

Honor could be any one of us writers. We are all her in some way. Put them together in a life and death situation and you get one action packed kick ass story! Don't forget Honor's cinnamon creamer or Nathan's apple pie and things will be just fine ;)
