Kelley Grealis has loved all things vampire since she was a kid. It was that fascination, combined with the need to know how the first vampire was created, that compelled her to write the type of vampire novel she had always wanted to read. Kelley was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and continues to live in the area with her husband and their two fur babies. She likes her cars fast and motorcycles loud and is a craft beer snob. I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and now I live not far from my birth place in Perry Hall, Maryland. I have two teenage daughters and a man that keep me busy when I'm not working full-time as a Certified Medical Coder. I'm an avid reader and I love all genre of romantic fiction from historical to contemporary to paranormal. Sleeping has always been a problem for me so most nights I can be found in the living room reading or writing instead of in bed like the rest of the world. I don't watch television. It's not a conscious decision, it just never occurs to me to turn it on when I have books to read and writing to do. It can actually be a hazard, because I never know what the weather will be until I look outside and I have to rely on my kids and coworkers for local and world news. I love creating the characters you love and love to hate. My characters remind me of people I know and people I wish I had never known.

My Review of NEW RELEASE-- Savage Possession by Belinda Boring

Growing up, Darcy knew that life would be filled with challenges and tough decisions, but none so difficult as the one that would alter her future forever. Given the choice between losing Mason or becoming a vampire, Darcy risks the overwhelming threat of insanity, and places her destiny, her hopes and dreams, in the hands of Devlin. When she survives the conversion and shows how truly strong she is, everyone thinks that the worst is behind them. It’s time to get back to normal—or their new normal—and live happily ever after.

But danger still lurks within the shadows—both in Woodside Hollow, the supernatural community, and within Darcy. Even though she looks fine, she seems “altered” to those closest to her, something beyond the expected consequences of her dual nature. With reports of dark rituals and blood sacrifices being performed, the Council has their hands filled trying to solve that mystery, leaving Mason scrambling to find out what’s wrong with his mate.

Will the imbalance warring within Darcy eventually settle, or will her decision to become part vampire-part werewolf lead to a SAVAGE POSSESSION?

My Review
5 Owls
Holy cliffhangers, Batman! Belinda Boring is a very wicked Queen of Swoon, LOL! I have loved the Mystic Wolves series from the beginning, and it only gets better with each new book! When I read Savage Possession I was in the middle of a really bad medical issue and should have been sleeping... NO WAY! I had to see what was going to happen with Darcy. The twists and turns woven by Belinda in this book kept me up all night, and when I finally hit the last page, I freaked. Bels... you are killing me! This whole series is a MUST READ. I'll tell you this, as an author myself, my time is very limited... but I will always MAKE time for a Mystic Wolves book. #truestory
Belinda Boring's books should be on every booklover's bookshelf, they're a staple!

My Review of Savior by Jennifer Malone Wright

This book was formerly titled "The Birth of Jaiden" It now contains a bit of new content, but is still the same story. It has also gone through another re-edit.

Alexander Lucas is a man of faith, casino owner and vampire. He should be living the Reno high life of riches and immortality. Instead, he wakes each night despising the blood on his hands and begging for a reason to continue on.

The last beat of his heart took place shortly after losing his family to a gruesome and violent death. One snowy night, the creature who had been stalking him finally took his life, in turn giving him the gift of immortality. Yet, immortality to Alex is not a gift, but rather a curse to live in eternal pain.

Nearly a century of tortured existence leads him to a dumpster in a dark alley where he finds a reason for continuing on. Nestled between bits of debris and rubbish a tiny infant wails for help. He calls for his best friend and guardian angel, Danielle, who explains to him that he has been chosen to raise this baby, for she would someday become a very powerful, natural witch. She tells him it is now his job to protect her from the enemy who wants her so badly, yet also to be her father.

Thinking this angel is out of her mind, Alex refuses many times until Danielle convinces him that the enemy, Malcolm and his wife Levine, cannot obtain the child and that they are, indeed attempting to find her. He must keep her safe, because if evil hands raise her than she will grow to possess the power to annihilate them all.

Luckily, Alex is not alone, he has The Higher Collective to assist in his mission. With the combined powers of the Vampires, Angels, Dark Angels, Witches and Warlocks, The Higher Collective prepares for a battle to protect the child from the evil she may possibly inherit.

My Review

I was blessed by being given this ebook for an honest review.
Savior is an inspirational story about good VS evil. You are who you choose to be.
I loved each and every character. They were portrayed on the pages in such a real manner that I cared about them as real friends.
Alex suffers a devastating loss and still finds faith to be on the side of good. Of coarse he gets angry and isn't someone I'd want to piss off but his heart is in a good place. He is genuine and I LOVED his character for that.
Isabella doesn't think highly of herself but cares for those around her deeply. You'll quickly see she's an amazing young witch who shouldn't be underestimated by anyone. This chick can hold her own!
Deanna was another of my favorites. She has tremendous growth in this story and she made me so proud by the end of this tale.
I think this is an ABSOLUTE MUST READ. This should be on a big screen one day. I highly recommend you download. It's so worth it.

My Review of The Master of Whitehall by Rick Veal

The sweeping saga of The Master of Whitehall is set in historic Charleston, South Carolina. There Katelyn Corbin, a thoroughly modern twenty-one year old college senior, faces the prospect of restarting her life after the brutal murder of her parents. Katelyn journeys from her hometown just outside Atlanta to her new school in Charleston. There she soon discovers love, healing and a brand new life in a most unexpected avenue.
Soon after arriving in Charleston, Katelyn meets James Dubois, a wealthy patron of the arts at her school. She is deeply intrigued by him and his old world aristocratic bearing. She feels as if he has reached out and somehow touched her very soul. Her interest in him intensifies as she learns he is indeed a mysterious man, with very little known about him. For all outward appearances he is a handsome young widower living alone in the beautifully restored colonial plantation of Whitehall Manor.
Their casual friendship soon turns serious, becoming a full on relationship as Katelyn falls madly in love with James. Their lives begin to blend together, twisting and turning, as they continue to grow closer. But James is not the man she thinks he is. After several strange incidents, dark secrets begin to come to the surface. Katelyn soon begins to develop a series of unsettling questions about her new love. She begins searching her own soul for answers, forcing her to question whether or not to continue their relationship. She finally decides that she must know the answers regardless of the outcome to their relationship.
When Katelyn confronts him with her questions she soon discovers James' true nature. His confirmation of her suspicions validates her fears that he was indeed not the man she thought, but the man she feared him to be. His revelations shock her, turning her world view on its side. She is forced to acknowledge things about herself and her world that she never thought possible. She discovers that old folklore and fairy-tales are real in a world where vampires live and love side by side with humans.
Katelyn continues to uncover secrets as she attempts to adjust what she believes is truth. With her new found knowledge, Katelyn soon realizes she must make a choice. Does she continue her relationship with James, becoming a vampire herself, or does she remain human and live without him. Is she strong enough to make either choice?
Katelyn and James invite you to come along on their journey of love. Gaze in awe at their love as it develops and grows stronger for each other. Witness Katelyn’s healing take place as James assists her to close the gaping wounds left by the tragedy of her parent’s murders, giving her full closure in a completely unique manner. Enjoy the story as it reaches a highly emotional and completely unforeseen ending, one that fully illustrates Katelyn's personality of love and care for all those around her.
My Review

When I started this book by Rick Veal I expected the POV to be from the vampire himself but was surprised it was from Katelyn's POV.
Mr. Veal did a really nice job. I hadn't yet read any male authors writing in a woman's POV.
I liked the history to the vampires story and the setting of Whitehall Manor was a great addition. I can picture the home and am dying to see something like that one day.The love story was nice but a little predictable. There were some characters that came later that I can only assume are for another book because they added nothing major to the story line in my opinion. It flowed nicely just a bit longer than expected. I told my sister about it and she was interested so Rick you have a new potential fan already. Lol.
It's a good story overall and I would recommend it to my vampire/historical/romance liking book worm buddies. Thanks to the author for allowing me to review. I have apologized for dinner being a bit crisoy while reading this as well. Happy Reading.

April 2nd Birthday Post

We made it!! Today is my birthday :) Thank you all for the amazing birthday wishes and cards <3 I'm supposed to showcase my own, so that's what I'm going to do.

Don't forget to leave a comment on this post for a chance to win one of my ebooks, and remember the rafflecopter is all the way at the bottom with a lot more yummy prizes to win!

Author K.B. Miller is a proud native of Baltimore, Maryland. Currently she resides in a tiny valley nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Pennsylvania along with with her husband and son (both Steelers fans ─ eww!), her energetic puppy ─ Cullen Edward, and her mouthy blue front Amazon Parrot, Poppy.

She’s also a huge football nut! That's right fellas, she’s a DIE-HARD Ravens fan living in Pennsylvania! How's that for ballsy?

She’s been writing for as long as she can remember, but two years ago her loving husband─ who believed in her talent, finally gave her a gentle push... actually, according to her, it was really more of a kick... in the lower back-upper thigh region. She claims it hurt. After a few restless nights she decided to allow everyone to meet all of the crazy characters in her head, and here we are.

K.B. has as her family calls it, a ridiculous addiction to hats, shoes, sunglasses, owls, and coffee. No problems there, right? That's what she said.

Welcome to K.B.-land, it's a lot like Disneyland only without all of the endless lines, overly happy people and it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg to enter! LOL

For the entire month of April, as my way of saying thank you to the fans and readers all of my books are on sale!!

Let's take a look at my next four releases
